On Saturday 19 July 2025, from 9 am to 5 pm, the TRUE project, in collaboration with IILAT and The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, will host another Open Source Advocacy Training, following from the success of last September's training in The Hague. We are grateful to Swansea University's ESRC Impact Acceleration Account for supporting this event.
Training will be led by international trainers:
Rehana Azib KC (2 Temple Gardens);
Grahame Aldous KC (Deka Chambers);
Sarah Clarke KC (Serjeants’ Inn Chambers)
Judge Jill Frances (Judge of the Upper Tribunal Immigration and Asylum Chamber);
The Hon. Mr Justice Martin Griffiths (High Court judge);
Her Excellency Judge Joanna Korner CMG KC (ICC Judge);
His Honour Judge Anthony Leonard KC (Central Criminal Court);
Scott Matthewson (Serjeants’ Inn Chambers).
The training will include a specifically designed mock case with fictional expert reports; leading open source investigators and forensic video analysts acting as expert witnesses, and a panel discussion with experts.
We have only 24 places available, and the deadline for applications is fast approaching (1 May). Apply online here.
