Swansea Science Festival 2022

TRUE will be exhibiting at the Swansea Science Festival on Saturday 5th November! The festival will be held at Swansea's National Waterfront Museum.


The Science Festival will run over the course of the weekend (5th and 6th November) with a range of science shows, talks, workshops and tours exploring the theme of ‘Frontiers’.


TRUE project will be hosting an interactive exhibition on the importance of perspective when trying to understand "what happened" using video evidence. Come and see, just how deceptive certain camera perspectives can be...

This post gives a nice snapshot of how events like the Swansea Science Festival bring research into a much more public and engaging space. The idea of using interactive exhibits to explore something like perspective in video evidence is especially interesting, as it makes quite a complex topic feel accessible and even a bit surprising for visitors.
